Matilda Bay Beer

So, if you are all wondering what all the hype is with Matilda Bay Beer, here is the spiel.
Matilda Bay Brewing Company was the first brewing company to start up after World War 2 by a couple of young guys with a lot of passion for beer in Western Australia. With a spike in popularity they finally re-located in 2005 to Dandenong, Victoria to a new facility called "The Garage". The move gave them the opportunity to refine their beer and invent several new varieties, expanding the Matilda Bay range to 7 different beers. Beez neez and Bohemian Pilsner to name a couple. "The Garage" is all about inventing and brewing unusual and tasty beers. And when the beers become so popular that they can't handle production in Dandenong, they call on their cousins down at Cascade Brewery in Hobart to help out.
Matilda Bay have won some prestigious awards for their efforts with the Champion Beer and Gold Medal at the Royal Sydney Show & Royal Perth Show.
The latest beer to hit your local is the "Fat Yak Pale Ale". Matilda Bay have a thing for animals, hmmm interesting, and most of the beers are named after animals - Beez neez, Dogbolter, Redback to name a few, so the Fat Yak Pale Ale is just staying within the tradition.
