Not your usual Pub Crawl - Part 2

Not Your Usual Pub/Bar Crawl continues.
Nothing spells a good night out like a drink at your local
bar. However, there are some bars that offer more than just your usual beer and
cocktails. From peculiar interiors to unique concepts, these bars and pubs have
drawn locals and tourists alike because of their more-than-interesting crowd pleasers.
5. Espit Chupitos --- Barcelona, Spain
If you happen to be in Barcelona and are looking for a hot night out, then Espit Chupitos is definitely the place to be. With bartenders serving literally flaming drinks and performing fire tricks themselves, this bar is not for the faint of heart. The bar serves over 500 different cocktails, with some of them already challenging the fire code such as their popular “Harry Potter” which is a literally fiery experience.
6. The Nutshell --- St. Edmunds, England
With the name taken from its small size, The Nutshell is a bar located in St. Edmunds that is regarded as the smallest pub in Britain. Measuring only 15 by 7 feet, the bar can only accommodate ten people at a time. In 1984 however, The Nutshell made a record by squeezing up to 102 people inside the diminutive pub.
7. Dans Le Noir --- Paris, France
If you are one of those people who love the dark, then you are going to love this unusual restaurant concept located in Paris. The dining room is completely pitch black, and all the customers are expected to wine and dine in total darkness with the help of an all-blind wait staff.
We received in email some fantastic pubs/bars our readers have visited from our last unusual bar/pub article. Many of you have also come in to us at James St, New Farm and told us at the bar, your encounters. We will list these in our next blog. Fascinating.
Visit us at the Queens Arms Hotel soon.
